In mid‑September 2026, Bishop Oder visited Washington. The Vice President of our Foundation previously served as postulator for the beatification and canonization process of Karol Wojtyła and is currently leading the cause for the sainthood of his parents, Emilia and Karol Wojtyła.
On September 12, he met with the Washington Chapter of the Circle of Friends of the John Paul II Vatican Foundation. On September 15, he was hosted by the Saint John Paul II National Shrine, where he delivered a lecture on the Pope’s parents: “Holy Parenthood: Discovering the Life and Legacy of Karol and Emilia Wojtyła”.
