92 years ago, on April 13, Emilia Wojtyła mother of Pope John Paul II, passed away. In the book "Gift and Mystery", Saint John Paul II wrote: "I lost my mother before the First Holy Communion at the age of 9 and therefore I don’t remember her well and I am less aware of her contribution to my religious education, and it was certainly very large”.
