Archbishop Mokrzycki recalls that the most touching moment for him was when during the Mass of the Lord's Supper John Paul II washed feet of twelve priests. He also did it when he was already very weak. The last time was in 2004. The priests sat on the elevation. The Pope drove to them on a moving throne. He said that by washing feet to the twelve apostles, Jesus taught us to serve another man. "With this gesture, Jesus reminds the disciples of all times that the Eucharist requires us to bear witness to it in love with our brothers and sisters," - he was explaining, convincing that when we sincerely and with commitment attend a holy Mass, it will generate love; in ourselves and throughout the Church. When we were returning home in the evening - recalls the Archbishop - the Holy Father was very tired, but very happy. He was strengthened by the strength of Holy Thursday's liturgy and the Eucharist, which for us on that day it means a lot more than usual.
