On Tuesday, April 29, our Foundation had the pleasure of hosting a special guest from Warsaw’s “Wola” Cultural Centre (WCK). Ms. Magdalena Grudziecka, Head of the Department of Cultural Animation and Projects at WCK, visited us as part of a study trip organized under the Erasmus+ programme. For the past four years, WCK has actively participated in Erasmus+, collaborating with cultural institutions in Germany, Austria, the Netherlands, Romania, and North Macedonia.
During her stay in Rome, Ms. Grudziecka first met with our Foundation’s administrator, Monsignor Dariusz Giers, at our Vatican office. She then visited the Pilgrim House, operated by our Foundation on Via Cassia 1200, where she spoke with its director, Fr. Mateusz Wójcik. The visit also included a tour of our Documentation and Study Center for Documentation and Research of the Pontificate of St. John Paul II, where she discussed potential areas of cooperation with its director, Fr. Prof. Andrzej Dobrzyński. Fr. Tomasz Podlewski, Director of the Media and Events Office, also participated in the meetings.
The purpose of the visit was to exchange best practices and establish connections with institutions that share a similar cultural mission.
