The Integrative and Academic Camp, nestled in the heart of the sub-Tatra landscapes in Majerczykówka near Poronin, is officially underway. This year, for the first time, our Foundation is co-organizing the event with its Polish partners: the Tertio Millennio Institute and Political Theology.
This is a special time when young people from across Poland gather to hike with lecturers, engage in discussions on the most pressing issues facing the Church, Poland, and Europe, and—on the threshold of a new academic year—build a nationwide intellectual community and forge new relationships. In Majerczykówka, students will be accompanied by intellectual guides, lecturers, and experts, including two priests from our Foundation:
- Prof. Zbigniew Stawrowski,
- Prof. Marek Cichocki,
- Dr. Piotr Dardziński,
- Prof. Dariusz Gawin,
- Dr. Dariusz Karłowicz,
- Msgr. Paweł Ptasznik, Chairman of our Foundation,
- Dr. Michał Kłosowski,
- Dr. Krzysztof Mazur,
- Dr. Paulina Michalska,
- Bishop Prof. Jacek Grzybowski,
- Fr. Prof. Jarosław Kupczak, O.P.,
- Prof. Juliusz Gałkowski,
- Prof. Jolanta Rzegocka,
- Prof. Magdalena Gawin,
- Fr. Dr. Tomasz Podlewski, Director of the Foundation’s Media Office, who also serves as the camp’s chaplain throughout the event.
The Integrative and Academic Camp in Majerczykówka is not only a space for rest and reflection but, above all, for vibrant dialogue and intellectual challenge. It offers an opportunity to enter into the spirit of our patron, St. John Paul II. In the silence of the mountains, in conversations around the table, during long hikes, and at the altar, an experience is born—one deeply connected to Karol Wojtyła. Our camp is a time to pause, breathe deeply, look inward, and discover the presence of God in everyday life, in community, and in the dialogue between faith and reason.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to our Patrons:
