ADMINISTRATIVE BOARD
The members of the Administrative Board are people who had direct contact with St John Paul II and his thought. They are responsible for the direction, vision and development of the Foundation. Drawing on the legacy of St John Paul II, they ensure that the Foundation’s activities remain faithful to its mission and respond to the challenges of our time.

According to the Statute, the current Metropolitan Archbishop of Kraków is also an ex officio member of the Administrative Board, exercising the so-called higher authority within the Foundation (Art. 4 § 1). At present, this is Cardinal Grzegorz Ryś. Additionally, pursuant to the same Statute: ‘Cardinal Stanisław Dziwisz, formerly the Personal Secretary to His Holiness John Paul II, as a special witness of his pontificate, is an ex officio member of the Administrative Board’ (Art. 5 § 3).
