From March 31 to April 1, the John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin (KUL) is hosting an international academic conference titled "Gift and Hope on the 20th Anniversary of Saint John Paul II's Passing."
Among the participants are Msgr. Paweł Ptasznik, Chairman of the John Paul II Vatican Foundation; Fr. Prof. Andrzej Dobrzyński, Director of the Center for Documentation and Research of the Pontificate of John Paul II in Rome; as well as Fr. Jan Strzałka and Fr. Robert Ptak, who oversee the Foundation's House for Students in Lublin.
Msgr. Ptasznik has been awarded the Signum Universitatis Medal, while Fr. Dobrzyński, Fr. Strzałka, and Fr. Ptak received the KUL Centennial Jubilee Medal.
