On Sunday, May 18, 2025, the community of the John Paul II Vatican Foundation House celebrated the 105th anniversary of the birth of its Founder and Patron. In an atmosphere of joy, spiritual emotion, and gratitude, current scholarship recipients and alumni gathered for the annual Foundation Day in Pliszczyn.
At 2:00 p.m., a solemn Holy Mass commenced in the parish church, presided over by Fr. Bartłomiej Król, SCJ, from the Major Missionary Seminary of the Priests of the Sacred Heart in Stadniki. The Eucharist provided an opportunity for shared prayer, reflection, and thanksgiving for the past year of formation.
Following the Mass, attendees gathered for a picnic with a barbecue. Despite the rather chilly weather for this time of year, participants enjoyed a warm, family-like atmosphere. Once again, we were reminded of the great value of mutual sharing and how much we owe to our Foundation and the spiritual legacy of Saint John Paul II.
